Introduction to Color Theory & Acrylic Techniques

Class Time: 1:00 - 5:00 PM

 

In this workshop, the instructor will guide students through mixing colors with acrylic paint using a minimal palette to gain a basic understanding of color theory. Students will also get to experiment with acrylic mediums to achieve certain visual effects. The first half of class will focus on color theory, while the rest will center on paint application techniques using various acrylic media. The skills covered are great for altering surfaces inside and outside of books. Students will gain the groundwork and understanding to further develop their painting skills beyond this course and leave with their own handmade samples to reference in the future.

Color Theory + Acrylic Mediums Workshop

Class Time: 6:30 - 9:30 PM

 

In this two-day workshop, students will learn how to mix colors with acrylic paint and use acrylic mediums. The first meeting will focus on color theory. At the second meeting, students will experiment and learn different techniques with paint applications using various acrylic mediums.
